Common questions

Can my students watch on their phone?

Yes. Slush streams work in any modern browser - phones, tablets, laptops. No app needed.
What's the video quality like?

We support up to 1080p streaming. Adaptive bitrate means students with slower connections still get a smooth experience.
How do subscriptions work?

You create subscription tiers in your Slush dashboard. Students sign up, pay through Stripe, and get access to your gated streams. You keep 90%, paid out through your Stripe account.
What if I want to do a free class?

No problem. You can create ungated streams anyone can watch, or give out free access to specific accounts.
Can I sell access to a single workshop?

Yes. Create an event ticket for one-off workshops or special classes. Set your price (up to $100), share the link, and students buy access to that specific stream.
Is there a contract or commitment?

No. Pay as you go. If you stop streaming, you stop paying (after your $19 minimum that month).
What's the catch with the $19 minimum?

No catch. We need to cover baseline infrastructure costs. The $19 minimum includes 250 hours watched - that's 25 hour-long classes with 10 viewers each. Most instructors stay near the minimum.
Can I stream pre-recorded videos too?

Slush is live-only - we don't store recordings or offer video-on-demand. You can stream pre-recorded content through OBS, but it won't be saved on our platform.
