By accessing or using slush.video (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
The following types of content are strictly prohibited on our platform:
Violation of these content restrictions may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
You retain all rights to content you create and stream through the Service. However, by streaming content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to stream all content you broadcast through the Service.
We take violations of these Terms seriously and enforce them through a graduated system designed to be fair while protecting our community.
When a violation occurs, we may take one or more of the following actions:

The severity and nature of violations are considered when determining appropriate action. Multiple minor violations or a pattern of problematic behavior may result in escalated enforcement.
Certain severe violations may result in immediate account suspension without prior warning, including but not limited to:
If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you may appeal by contacting [email protected]. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and decisions are final.
Upon suspension, your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease.
Payments for subscriptions and tickets are processed by Stripe. To sell on slush.video you must connect a Stripe account for each channel (a "Connected Account") and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
Slush keeps a platform fee of 5% of each payment a viewer makes for your subscriptions or tickets. The fees Stripe, our payment processor, charges for that payment are also deducted from your share. Today, for a US card, that is 2.9% + $0.30 per payment, plus 1.5% for cards issued outside the US, plus 0.7% of subscription payments (including prorated plan changes) for Stripe Billing. Card processing fees are deducted as Stripe reports them on each payment, to the nearest cent. Stripe does not report the Stripe Billing fee per payment, so we deduct it at Stripe's published rate, as an estimate of what Stripe charges us. We will give you 30 days' notice before changing Slush's platform fee.
Your share of each payment is credited to your Connected Account balance. Funds in your Connected Account are held by Stripe and its partner banks, not by slush.video, and slush.video never keeps your earnings. Your Stripe Dashboard is the authoritative record of your balance.
You authorize slush.video to set your Connected Account's payout schedule, to initiate payouts and transfer reversals on your behalf, and to debit your Connected Account balance for fees, refunds, chargebacks and dispute fees owed on your sales. Your available balance is paid out to your bank account on Stripe's automatic schedule, unless payouts are paused under Sections 6.5 to 6.7. New funds become available after Stripe's processing period, and bank arrival times depend on Stripe and your bank. We will email you at least 30 days before introducing a minimum payout amount.
Except while payouts are paused under Section 6.7, your balance is not held back: it is paid out on Stripe's schedule.
If your channel expires or is closed, your remaining balance is paid out, less any amounts needed for pending refunds or disputes, which are paid out once they are resolved. If we suspend or terminate your account for fraud or a violation of these Terms, your balance is held under Section 6.7 while we review it rather than paid out immediately. We do not forfeit earned balances.
If a payment is refunded, Slush returns its 5% platform fee on the refunded amount. The Stripe fees deducted for that payment, including the Stripe Billing fee, are not returned, so they remain deducted from your share, which can leave your balance below zero. A negative balance is recovered from your future earnings. If a fully refunded payment is later disputed, Section 6.6 applies.
If a viewer's bank disputes a payment (a chargeback), we take your share of the disputed amount and the dispute fees Stripe charges for the dispute from your Connected Account balance. If your balance doesn't cover them, the rest is collected from your future earnings before your next payout. If the dispute is decided in your favor, we return your share; dispute fees are not refunded. If the disputed payment had already been fully refunded to the viewer, slush.video bears the dispute fees and nothing is taken from your balance. If your balance becomes negative, future earnings are applied to it first, payouts are paused until it is positive, and Stripe may debit your bank account to cover it.
If a payout fails (for example, because of closed or incorrect bank details), the funds stay in your balance and we will email you. Payouts resume after you update your bank details in the Stripe Dashboard; repeated failures may require you to contact [email protected]. We may pause payouts to an account under review for fraud or a violation of these Terms. Stripe may also independently hold, reserve or debit funds under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. Earnings are generally reportable when credited to your balance, not when paid out. We may collect tax information from you and issue tax forms, such as Form 1099-K.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We use automated systems, including AI, to analyze stream content and generate search associations. We do not guarantee the accuracy of search results or semantic associations between channels and search queries, and we are not responsible for how your channel may be categorized or associated with particular topics.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
